The Client
Kids Art Lab is a family-run YouTube channel that creates engaging drawing tutorials for children, blending education with fun to inspire creativity in young audiences. By February 2025, they wanted to expand their reach beyond YouTube, build brand consistency across social platforms, and attract a larger, more engaged community.
Elysia Social was brought on to develop a comprehensive content strategy, implement high-quality creative execution, and establish an engaging presence on TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest to drive discoverability and long-term growth.
The Challenge
While Kids Art Lab had engaging content and a loyal base on YouTube, they faced several roadblocks:
Inconsistent social posting and branding outside of YouTube
Lack of platform-specific optimization for TikTok, Instagram, and Pinterest

Our Approach
We designed a comprehensive content and platform strategy to grow Kids Art Lab’s audience while freeing up their time to focus on creating art tutorials.
Phase 1 – Strategy & Calendar Creation

Phase 2 – Content Production & Optimization
One content shoot to capture B-roll, lifestyle images, and additional footage for shareable content
Produced 16 short-form videos per month, each custom-edited for TikTok and Instagram Reels
Two static Instagram photo posts per month to maintain feed aesthetics
Platform-specific editing: optimized hooks, trending audio, storytelling elements, and CTAs tailored to each platform
Phase 3 – Publishing & Engagement
Full posting and scheduling across TikTok and Instagram
Community management:
Engaged with at least 30 new people per week for organic audience growth
Responded to comments and DMs to foster relationships with followers
Phase 4 – Pinterest Launch
Set up and fully optimized Pinterest profile with keyword-rich bio and board descriptions
Created boards around relevant topics (e.g., kids drawing ideas, art projects for children)
Posted 14–18 pins per week including standard, idea pins, and video pins
SEO optimization & keyword research to maximize discoverability
Repurposed YouTube and Instagram content for efficiency and reach
